Mahoujo is a CCG (Collectible Card Game) being developed to fill what we perceive as a void in the CCG arena, an aesthetically appealing and well-balanced CCG aimed at young girls. Mahoujo will be free to play online and support for self-printing proxies will be provided. We're working towards publishing, but we still have a long way to go.

A Mahoujo is a magical girl (portmanteau of Mahou Shoujo, literally magical girl). She uses her powers to fight evil even as she struggles with the daily life of a teenager. In the game of Mahoujo the player will have a team of three Mahoujo and a series of narrative objectives. The player will use the Mahoujo and the cards in their deck to try to be the first player to complete all their objectives.

The main objective in the game will be to help the fairies of the Day Court defeat the the Night Court and their allies. The Night Court and Day Court fairies both thrive on human emotions. The Night Court is the happiest, most numerous, and most comfortable if the world is a dreary place. The Day Court, on the other hand, need to be surrounded by happiness and joy in order to survive. The Night Court has launched an offensive on the human world to try and sow misery. In order to combat them, the Day Court fairies give the power of transformation to girls who can see them. Together, they battle the Night Court forces to foil their sinister plans.
